Bébés et poupées
Acquire a family heirloom that will be passed from one little girl to another
If you, like me, have never stopped playing with dolls, Ma Poupeé is a place where you can treat yourself. Own an authentic reproduction of a French or German doll from th late 19th century or the first half of the 20th. Your treasure will be created according to old European techniques: A face painted like the original, a couture frock fashioned from fine fabric and old lace, a wig styled by hand.
The art and craft of making these dolls brings me so much joy. I hope that owning one of my creations will do the same for you.
Bru Jne 11:
The French house of Bru created some of the sweetest faced dolls made during the Golden Age of Dolls, in the late 19th century. None is prettier than the Bru Jne 11, a bébé faithfully recreated here and costumed in a frock of pink French organdy and old lace. Beneath is a prim combinaison fashioned from old cotton eyelet. She wears tiny vintage earrings made of milk glass Haskell beads and a handmade human-hair wig. All are highlighted with traditional pink rayon ribbon. SOLD
